Congratulations to all participants and winners of prizes for the 54th ACS Meeting in Miniature organized at the University of Texas at Dallas.
The 2022 Meeting in Miniature had six graduate and two undergraduate sections. Three prizes for each section were supported by the Dallas Fort Worth Local Section of the American Chemical Society. Special prizes for the six graduate sections were supported by the ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces journal. The winners of prizes for the 54th ACS Meeting in Miniature are listed below.

The 2022 Meeting in Miniature at UT Dallas

We invited and encouraged postdoc, graduate and undergraduate students to submit abstracts for 10-12
minutes oral presentations, with an additional 3-5 minutes for questions.

The Virtual 2021 Meeting in Miniature at UT Dallas |
The Meeting in Miniature (MiM) is an annual symposium sponsored by the ACS DFW Local Section. The MiM is held at a local section university on a Saturday in spring. Undergraduate and graduate students throughout the local section are invited to present on their research for a chance to win prizes.
The 53rd ACS DFW Meeting in Miniature took place on May 01, 2021, in virtual format. The meeting was organized by the University of Texas at Dallas using the Blackboard Collaborate platform.
A total of 108 undergraduate and graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows submitted abstracts and gave presentations. The meeting had 7 sections: Organic, Polymer, Inorganic, Materials, Biochemistry/Biological Chemistry, Physical/Computational, and Undergraduate.
ACS DFW local section sponsored 3 prizes for best talks in each section (for a total of 21 prizes from 7 sections). Award certificates are provided, and first prize winners receive $250, second prize winners receive $200, and third prize winners receive $150.
Students were also recognized with 12 special prizes ($150 each) for creativity. The special prizes were sponsored by the University of Texas at Dallas.
